Oracle System

The Classic Oracle System of Mooniez

Mooniez uses a classic oracle system to ensure stability and balance within the game's economy. This system dynamically adjusts costs and rewards based on the current market price of the native token, $SNUG, ensuring that in-game transactions maintain a fixed value in USD.

The classic oracle approach allows players to enjoy a consistent and predictable experience, regardless of market fluctuations.

How Does It Work?

  1. Dynamic Adjustment:

    • The oracle calculates in real-time how many $SNUG tokens are required to meet a fixed USD value. This automatic adjustment ensures that both costs and rewards reflect the specified USD amount.

  2. Stability for Players:

    • Costs and rewards will always have a fixed USD value in the game, offering peace of mind amid market volatility.

Practical Examples:

  1. Minting Astronauts or Spaceships:

    • Each mint has a fixed cost of 20 USD.

    • If $SNUG is priced at 0.50 USD, the mint will cost 40 $SNUG.

    • If $SNUG rises to 1 USD, the mint will cost 20 $SNUG.

  2. Rewards from Missions:

    • Successfully completing a mission on the planet Sparkletown grants a fixed reward of 65 USD.

    • If $SNUG is priced at 0.65 USD, the reward will be 100 $SNUG.

    • If $SNUG drops to 0.325 USD, the reward will be 200 $SNUG.

This classic oracle system not only protects players but also ensures that Mooniez's economy remains robust and fair, delivering a sustainable and enjoyable gaming experience for all.
